Math Worksheets and Links for Wagon Trailway Neighbours
Hi Everyone,
Although retired, I did teach math for 31 years and I began to think that many of you are probably having to do some home schooling and asked myself how I could help my Wagon Trailway neighbours.
Many of my years were spent teaching at the middle school level and I used a series of exercise books called "Math With Pizzazz" They covered topics from about the grade 6 level to about grade 10.
All of the worksheets start with a question such as "What do you call a..." or "Did you here about..." etc. By working through the worksheets the correct answers provided a "Punny" solution. i.e. Q: Why are hinges like babies? - A: They are both things to adore. The great benefit of the worksheets is that there is always immediate feedback and the kids are rewarded (or tortured) by getting the solution to the joke.
If you want to see an example click here.
I was able to find links to all of the books which are available as PDF's so you can download any number of worksheets you may feel will benefit your child.
You just need to click on the link of ones you may find appropriate.
